Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – January 8, 2021 – Education
Elena Buinevich, Director of the Education Department of the Odessa City Council, presented her explanations on facebook.
“Dear parents, colleagues. An additional message was posted on the official website of the CMU yesterday: quarantine restrictions have increased. From Monday to January 24, it is forbidden to attend educational institutions of all forms of ownership, except for kindergartens and special schools. This means that schools will operate remotely, regardless of grade and age, and this restriction applies to out-of-school settings. Neither I, nor the heads of your schools, nor the teachers are doctors and, moreover, representatives of the Cabinet. I cannot make expert comments on the quarantine, its expediency and timing. Therefore, I will leave such questions unanswered, sorry. We would like to help in everything related to the quality of the educational process. There are problems – write under the post or in a personal. Since there are many messages, I will immediately note: the response (answer) will be only to the address of the problem. Write the numbers of the establishments.
About kindergartens. At the beginning of this week, there was one kindergarten (304) and 10 more groups in other kindergartens. I am sure that this reduction in the number of quarantine groups (we had 70) is the result of a significant increase in the social responsibility of parents and employees. It is necessary to continue strict parental and pedagogical control over the health of children: there are signs of GDVI – we are sitting at home. Be healthy”.
