In the village of Kurilovka, Dnipropetrovsk region, with the support of the MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation, a workshop for drying vegetables and fruits was launched. This was reported in the press service of the Petrykivka community .

The project “Arrangement of the workshop “Petrykivka housewives” became one of the winners of the competition “Time to act, Ukraine” and received a grant for the purchase of equipment. The workshop produces “dry sets” for Ukrainian defenders, as well as processes vegetables for “drying” for residents of the Petrykivka community.
Citation
“The goal of the project is to meet the community’s need for food, taking into account the increase in the population at the expense of displaced persons, as well as a significant increase in the duration of storage of grown vegetables, berries and fruits,” the statement said.
Recall
The contest “Time to act, Ukraine!” was held from August 9 to August 31. During this time, the organizers received almost 400 projects from 11 regions of Ukraine. Previously, the budget of the competition amounted to UAH 5 million. However, having received a large number of important projects for local residents, MHP-Hromadi found reserve funds to support 102 initiatives instead of 70 projects. The winners received from 50,000 to 100,000 support for the implementation of their projects.

MHP-Hromada is a Ukrainian charitable foundation that started its activities in 2015. Its main mission is the integrated development of communities. The geography of activity includes 12 regions of Ukraine: more than 700 towns and villages.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Foundation has been systematically supporting people in the regions of hostilities, Ukrainian defenders and rescuers, communities, hospitals and maternity hospitals, charitable institutions that care for orphans and the elderly, as well as people who were left without a home and livelihood due to the war.
