In Ukraine, for the week from December 2 to December 8, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 decreased by another 10.9%, compared to a week earlier – to 4.2 thousand. This is evidenced by the data of the Center for Public Health and the Ministry of Health .

According to the Ministry of Health, for the period from 02.12 to 08.12 in Ukraine:
- 4286 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded (including 463 children, 107 medical workers),
- 2711 people were hospitalized,
- deaths – 56,
- 5,930 people have recovered.
For all the time of the pandemic in Ukraine:
- 5,350,380 people fell ill,
- recovered – 5,222,854 people,
- deaths – 110,694.
At the same time, for the period from December 5 to December 11, 57,387 people (12.4% less than the previous week) were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of these vaccinations, 10.8% are the first doses, 9.6% are the second doses, 60.3% are the first booster doses, and 19.3% are the second booster doses.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 34,806,307 people have been vaccinated, of which 15,393,919 people have received two doses, 2,936,710 people have received the first booster dose, 176,679 people have received the second booster dose, and 35,307 people have received an additional dose.
“It is important that more than 815 thousand rubles. people have not received the second dose, and more than 12.4 million people have not yet received the first booster dose,” the Ministry of Health noted.
