From now on, in the “Diia” application, you can change your place of residence and cancel the status of internally displaced persons. This was announced in a telegram by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov .

“Changing your place of residence and canceling the status for IDPs is already in Diia. Now you can do this in a few clicks in the app. Without going to government agencies and filling out a bunch of documents,” Fedorov wrote.

Both services are automatic – you no longer have to wait for the decision of the civil servant.
The services can be used by Ukrainians who have an IDP certificate in Diia. To change the place of registration, the internally displaced person must physically stay at the place of temporary residence in order to confirm geolocation.
