In the Chernihiv region, as part of the rapid reconstruction plan, 8,896 facilities should be restored. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a forum on economic stability and reconstruction of Ukraine .

“In total, in the Chernihiv region, only within the framework of the plan for the rapid reconstruction of what requires immediate efforts, 8,896 objects should be restored. More than a thousand apartment buildings that have been damaged or destroyed by shelling. More than 7 thousand private houses, as well as hospitals, schools, communications, transport, enterprises, and this is only in one region,” Zelenskyy said.
According to him, some of the work is already underway, in particular, France has already provided assistance in restoring bridges.
“But for the French state, French companies, there are more opportunities and projects that need to be implemented. Ukrainian government officials today represent our needs for rapid reconstruction, and I invite you all to join, join now, including within the framework of France’s patronage over the Chernihiv region,” Zelenskyy said.
He noted that in total, the fighting directly affected the territory of 11 regions.
“The volume of our rapid reconstruction plan, which covers more than 50,000 facilities in other regions, and more than 12 billion euros,” Zelenskyy said.
