Jeep has officially introduced the updated Jeep Grand Cherokee with the prefix L. The SUV received a third row of seats and a number of innovative technologies. Visually, the designers tried to stay within the usual design of the iconic SUV. The front features a more powerful hood with a downward slope, reduced elements of the radiator grille, consisting of seven vertical sections, and thin LED strips in the horizontal headlights.
Given that the model has a third row of seats, it far exceeds the usual modification in size. The wheelbase reaches 3,091 millimeters and the total length is 5,204 millimeters. For comparison: the wheelbase of the usual “Cherokee” is 2,915 millimeters, and the total length is 4,820 millimeters. Thus, the three-row modification has become almost half a meter longer.
The changes in the interior are much more noticeable – the interior of the “long” version is strikingly different from the standard. Yes, there is a new dashboard, 8.4-inch touch screen or an additional 10.1-inch. More expensive materials were used in finishing: leather, wood and metal.
Chairs with ventilation and adjustment for 16 parameters, massage function and memory for five different profiles are also available in some configurations.
