The massive missile strike of the enemy today caused the loss of more than 50% of the consumption of the Ukrainian energy system, NPC Ukrenergo reported .

“On 16.12.2022, as a result of massive rocket attacks by the Russian Federation of the electric power infrastructure of Ukraine (thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants, substations of main networks of 330-750 kV), more than 50% of the consumption of the IPS of Ukraine was lost, which, in accordance with paragraph 2.4 of the Transmission System Code, determines the occurrence of a systemic accident regime,” the message says.
At the same time, Ukrenergo, in accordance with market rules, reported “the onset of an emergency, starting from the billing period from 09:00 on 16.12.2022.”
