Details
According to Gaidai, the Russians are trying to make small counterattacks, but they are all unsuccessful. They are trying to go from Dibrova and Stelmakhivka. In addition, the invaders are constantly firing heavy artillery at the de-occupied villages, in particular Makiivka and Nevsky.
At the same time, the Armed Forces were entrenched in the direction of Bilogorivka. Gaidai noted that due to the low temperature and frozen ground, fighting will intensify in the near future in the Luhansk region.
“Most of the defense works are carried out in the Starobilsk region, because the occupiers blew up everything that goes along the front line, in particular small bridges, mined large bridges, highways, all the forest strips are completely dug up – they are mined, or they dig peculiar holes in which they hide “, – the head of the region.
Gaidai noted that it is difficult for Ukrainian fighters to pass through all the fortified areas. He said that the invaders mined the territory of Luhansk region manually and remotely. They use modern plastic mines, which are not detected by a metal detector.
Gaidai also added that Russian commanders throw their units forward, even if there is a minefield ahead, after which the next units can follow them.
Addition
Residents of temporarily occupied Severodonetsk, Luhansk region report that Russians are robbing their apartments under the guise of repair work.
