Easy to prepare and quite hearty salad of boiled meat is suitable for a regular dinner or will be a decoration of the holiday table.
Fleshy prunes go well with meat, but the main thing is not to overdo it, so that it does not interrupt the taste of other ingredients. This salad can be prepared with any meat: chicken, beef or pork.
Cooking time: 90 minutes
Ingredients:
1 kg of lean pork
200 g of mayonnaise
100 g of walnuts
100 g pitted prunes
4-5 cloves of garlic
salt, pepper to taste
Step by step preparation:
1. Pour cold water over the pork and boil for 40-50 minutes until cooked. You can add bay leaf, onion or spices to taste for flavor.
2. Fry the nuts in a dry pan. Boiled pitted prunes are boiled and dried.
3. Boiled meat is finely chopped. Nuts can also be chopped with a knife or chopped with a rolling pin. Prunes cut into cubes. Garlic is passed through a press. Mix everything in a salad bowl and season with mayonnaise. If desired, you can salt and pepper to taste.
