In the Bosphorus, 92 vessels are waiting for their turn for the JCC inspection. Last day, 7 vessels received approval for further movement after the inspection. For continuous movement through the grain corridor, at least 12 inspections per day should take place, the Ministry of Infrastructure added.

On July 22, Ukraine, the UN, Turkey and Russia signed an agreement (Ukraine and Russia separately) for 120 days aimed at ensuring the safe passage of vessels entering and leaving three Ukrainian Black Sea ports (“Odessa”, “Chornomorsk”, “Yuzhny”), which were blocked by the Russian Federation after Moscow’s invasion on February 24.
Ukraine and Russia are major grain exporters, and the blockade of ports has delayed tens of millions of tons of grain in the country.
