“Six months more than enough to eliminate all the shortcomings of the bill. I think that this is a kind of sabotage of the middle level and it should be, in my opinion, under the watchful eye of the SBU,” she said.
In fact, due to the fact that the draft law has not yet been adopted by the deputies, trade between Ukraine and Moldova is possible only under the Free Trade Agreement with the CIS, which Ukraine has not yet denounced.
“If we are talking about the fact that the actual father of the founder of this CIS is Russia, with which we are waging a merciless war, then any agreements that bind us to this organization should be terminated. And any sabotage of the termination of these agreements, from my point of view, should be under the watchful eye of law enforcement agencies,” Freeze said.
She assured that the deputy corps is ready to support the relevant initiative of the government to terminate the next agreement between Ukraine and the CIS.
“I am sure that we should switch to bilateral relations with countries that are still part of this half-dead association, so we will not hesitate and are ready to vote for this initiative as a basis and as a whole,” Friese concluded.
Recall
Last year, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilice signed a protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Moldova on amendments to the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.
According to Denys Shmyhal, amendments to this Agreement provide for the application of pan-Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin of goods.
At the same time, in order to implement this protocol, the Verkhovna Rada must adopt bill 0151 on amendments to the Free Trade Agreement, which is still within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada and has not yet been put to a vote. Therefore, exporters during customs are forced to use the Free Trade Agreement with the CIS, in which, among other things, Russia is present. This, in particular, is insisted on by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
