According to UkrAutoprom, Ukrainians have increasingly preferred cars with batteries and “hybrids”. While the share of cars with a gasoline engine in the structure of demand of Ukrainians has decreased .
When buying a new car, Ukrainians continue to prefer gasoline engines, but the demand for them continues to decrease. Analysts provide data for November this year compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

Thus, of the 3090 new cars purchased in November, 55% were cars equipped with gasoline engines. Last year, such cars covered 64% of the market for new cars.
Diesel cars have the second result, as last year they own 22% of the November market.
In third place are cars with hybrid power plants – 13%. Compared to the corresponding period last year, the share of “hybrids” increased by 2 percentage points.
The share of battery-powered vehicles for the year increased from 2 to 9 percent.
As last year, cars with LPG remain the least popular – 1%.
UkrAvtoprom also told which car brands were in demand in November. The most popular gasoline car in November was the TOYOTA RAV4. In the segment of diesel cars, RENAULT Duster has the championship. Among hybrids, the leader is the TOYOTA RAV4 Hybrid. The most popular in the market of new electric vehicles – VOLKSWAGEN ID.4. The leader in registrations of new cars with LPG was RENAULT Duster.
