The capacity deficit in Ukraine’s energy system has decreased somewhat, but remains significant. Consumption limits have been brought to all regions, exceeding which leads to the application of emergency restrictions, NPC Ukrenergo reported .

In the east, as a result of Russian shelling in the frontline areas, there is damage to the power grids. Emergency restoration work will begin immediately after the permission of the military, the company added.
“Repairs at energy infrastructure facilities continue around the clock, but the damage received is complex and large-scale, so their restoration requires considerable time,” Ukrenergo noted.
