As reported, on the morning of December 23, as a result of another shelling of the city of Kherson by Russian servicemen, two local residents were killed. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. According to preliminary data, the enemy attacked the city with multiple launch rocket systems.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In order to properly investigate war crimes, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out, prosecutors, investigators and experts are working on the ground.

Last day, the Russian occupiers shelled the Kherson region 61 times – 2 civilians were injured of varying severity, one person was killed.
