As a result of the enemy strike in the center of Kherson, today it is already known about 8 dead. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office .

“According to the investigation, on the morning of December 24, the occupiers carried out another shelling of the center of Kherson, aiming at the places with the most massive clusters of local residents. At least eight civilians were killed and 17 civilians injured. Several people were hospitalized with serious injuries,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Details
As indicated, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, including residential buildings, administrative buildings and vehicles.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
“Shelling of the city continues,” the prosecutor’s office added.
