The Russian occupiers are shelling the Donetsk region in different parts of the front. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavlo Kyrylenko on Saturday, December 24, in Telegram .

According to the head of the OVA, the situation in the region as of the morning of December 24 is as follows:
- In the Volnovakha direction, periodic shelling of Vuhledar took place during the day – information about the victims was not received.
- In Donetsk sector, numerous shellings of the Mariinsky community were recorded, especially in Marinka.
- In the Horlivka direction, 1 house in Toretsk was damaged. The shelling also took place near Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka and the Bakhmut Soledar community.
- In the Lysychansk direction, 2 houses were destroyed: in the Torsk Liman community and in the Pereizny Zvanivska community.

On December 23, the Russian military killed two civilians in the Donetsk region, and wounded five more people in the region.
