In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian occupiers are losing thousands of their soldiers, but still do not abandon the goal of reaching the borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. This was announced on the air of one of the TV channels by the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhii Gaidai .

The head of the OVA emphasizes that despite the huge losses, the plans of the occupying army are still clear: they want to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In particular, they need at least some kind of victory in order to show on Russian television “the successes of the Russian army instead of lost cities and territories.”
Gaidai also stressed that the occupiers of the strong units that took part in the hostilities had only paratroopers who were transferred from near Kherson. Vaughn is already fighting in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
“As for the mobilized: there are really a huge number of them. It’s really hundreds of thousands. And no matter how prepared they are or vice versa – it’s still a huge number of people who go on the offensive around the clock and shoot in the direction of our defenders. They were divided, and now the two-month training of certain units of the freshly mobilized is ending, and during January, they will still be thrown into the offensive in different directions. This will not give Russia anything in general. The only thing is that our progress of the defense forces forward will not be as rapid as we all would like. It will be difficult, and every meter will really be given very hard. But they will not be able to radically change the situation on the battlefield,” Gaidai said.
He also added that the mobilization of the Russians did not stop a single day. The invaders forcibly force men to join the ranks of the Russian army, but do not provide them with equipment and throw them as cannon fodder.
“Again, they create artificial conditions to mobilize people. How: dismantle equipment from large enterprises, such as Azot. And of course, a huge number of men are left without work. And they are simply mobilized and thrown to the front. And by the way, they are not very cooked. They are not sent to the Urals or to any professional courses. There is preparation for 2-3 weeks, or even less. Equipment absolutely none. And it’s just used realistically, like cannon fodder for those units that are already going behind. That is, the mobilization continues, and it will not end until they take the last man,” Gaidai stated.
