The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev, checked the Defense Forces of the Kyiv region to counter enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

“According to legend, the enemy is trying to land a tactical airborne assault force and capture an important state facility. Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with units of the National Guard of Ukraine, destroyed transport helicopters in the air and inflicted fire on the forward detachment, which tried to seize the appropriate bridgehead for further actions,” said Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.
According to the commander, in order to carry out the fire damage, an artillery maneuver was carried out. To this end, a water barrier is overcome with the help of PTS-2 and ferry crossings.
“But there are no limits to improving the practical skills and abilities of our personnel. Commanders will continue this training in the future to bring the actions of subordinates to automatism,” lieutenant-general Sergey Naev stressed.
