In Russia, around the autumn, a technical famine began due to the sanctions imposed. As Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said in an interview with LIGA.net, Moscow around the world is looking for shells for further warfare .

“The Russian army faces almost identical problems that we face. Only we are from March, and they are about the beginning of autumn. Just as we have a problem with shells to artillery, which we solve thanks to our partners, so it began in them. Just as we started having problems with high-explosive fragmentation shells to tanks – so did they. The same applies to missiles to the MLRS,” Budanov said.

According to him, now Russians are also looking all over the world for where to buy 122 and 152 mm shells, tank high-explosive fragmentation shots and rockets to the Grads and Hurricanes.
Some countries help the aggressor state, but in many cases they sell through third countries.
Budanov also commented on the strengthening of Russia’s cooperation with Iran. In his opinion, apart from the “mopeds” Shahed-136 and Shahed-131, the Russian Federation “nothing shines” anymore. In particular, Moscow is trying to buy ammunition from Tehran, and also wants to get ballistic missiles. However, Iran never handed over a single missile.
“Everyone has already seen and heard these flying ‘mopeds’. Someone may even feel for themselves. These drones were transferred. Whether they will go further to the missiles is an open question. Everyone is working to ensure that this does not happen. And Iran itself realized that it is so easy to pass it on to Russia – it is not perceived by the world. Even the world with which they are used to communicating normally,” Budanov added.
Supplement
According to media reports, Russia may soon supply Iran with 24 Su-35 fighters in exchange for kamikaze drones.
Bloomberg also reported that Russia and Iran, contrary to sanctions, are building a new transcontinental trade route stretching from the eastern tip of Europe to the Indian Ocean.
