According to the Ministry of Defense of Britain, earlier, in mid-December, the Russian military and forces of the “Wagner” PMC probably increased the frequency of infantry assaults around the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. “However, many of these operations were poorly supported,” British intelligence noted.
Currently, Russian offensive operations in this area “probably only take place at the platoon or division level,” the British Ministry of Defense added.
