Warm weather and a decrease in consumption by industry made it possible to minimally limit electricity for Kyiv residents during the holidays, energy experts noted.

“Therefore, from 2:00 p.m. today in Kyiv, the stabilization schedules of outages to avoid accidents in the power system will begin again,” DTEK concluded.

Power plants produce enough electricity to cover the load in the first half of the day, thanks to the warm weather, consumption restrictions until 2 p.m. do not apply. To ensure balance in the energy system, consumption limits for the second half of the day have been adjusted for all regions.
