The Commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, checked the readiness of the units defending the Volyn direction for the protection and defense of an important state object of critical infrastructure during combat training exercises.

“Commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, during combat training exercises, checked the readiness of the units defending the Volyn area to protect and defend an important state object of critical infrastructure,” the message reads.
It is reported that the purpose of these exercises is to practice coordination and effective interaction between units of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service, the National Police and the State Emergency Service.
According to Nayev, the relevant units of the Defense Forces acted in a coordinated manner and showed a high level of training and cooperation.
As the lieutenant general noted, practical steps have already been planned to improve personnel training.
Accordingly, measures will be continued in the future in order to bring the actions of personnel to automaticity.
“Commanders must be clearly aware of the situation and make adequate decisions. This is very appropriate and very useful for the joint actions of all units that are part of the Security and Defense Sector,” the commander emphasized.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported that it conducted military exercises near Belarus, during which they worked out the detention of an enemy DRG at an energy facility.
