A former security guard from the Kherson region will be tried for aiding the aggressor state.

Under the procedural leadership of the Prosecutor General’s Office, a special pre-trial investigation was completed and an indictment was sent to the court against a former member of the Terrodefense in the Kherson region for aiding the aggressor state (Part 1, Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation notes that at the beginning of June 2022, while in Kherson, the accused, through mass media, called on the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, territorial defense, reservists and citizens who do not accept the power of the aggressor state to lay down their arms and support the enemy.
The criminal handed over personal information about members of the Territorial Defense Forces to the occupation administration of the Russian Federation.

All measures of documentation and exposure were carried out by prosecutors together with investigators of the National Police of Ukraine under the operational support of the SBU. For collaborative activity, the criminal faces deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of ten to fifteen years.
