The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba expressed his condolences to the families of the passengers of the SJ182 plane that crashed in Indonesia.

“I am shocked by the tragic reports of the crash of Sriwijaya SJ182 in Indonesia. I deeply sympathize with the families of the victims. At this difficult time, Ukraine is standing next to the people and government of Indonesia,” the minister said.
Plane crash in Jakarta
On January 9, a passenger plane crashed in Indonesia. The Boeing 737-524 disappeared from radar shortly after takeoff from Jakarta airport.
There were 62 people on board, including ten children.
On January 10, 2021, Jakarta police received a package of wreckage found after the crash of Sriwijaya Air’s Boeing 737-524.
On January 10, 2021, black boxes of a crashed Boeing 737 were found.
