The best food for 6-month-old babies is soft and mashed food that contains the essential nutrients that the baby needs. Below I will show you a group of foods that can be given to children at the age of 6 months: Soft mashed grains: such as rice, oats, and other mashed grains, which can be prepared by adding breast milk or infant formula. Mashed vegetables: such as potatoes, carrots, zucchini, and squash, and they can be served after cooking, stewing, and mashing them. Mashed fruits: such as bananas, apples, and oranges, and they can be served after peeling, cutting, and mashing them.
