The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published on its Facebook page an update on the latest combat developments over the past 24 hours, confirming that 72 clashes had occurred along the front lines in Ukraine.
She added, during the night hours, the Russian invaders launched 22 Shahed drones into Ukraine. 17 suicide drones were intercepted.
More than 145 settlements in the regions of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
In the Volyn and Polesia directions: the operational situation did not witness any major changes.
As for the Severshchyna and Slobozhanchyna directions: the enemy maintains its military presence near the border, and carries out sabotage operations in order to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian forces to other directions.
In the direction of Kubyansk: The Russians did not make any offensive attempts last day.
Liman direction: Ukrainian forces repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Belohorivka, Luhansk region, Hryhorivka and Terny of the Donetsk region.
Bakhmut direction: Ukraine repelled six enemy attacks in the Klyshcheyevka, Andreyevka, Stobochki and eastern Chasiv Yar regions of the Donetsk region.
Avdiivka direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy attacks in the Berdichi, Orlivka, Toninki, Pervomaisky and Nevelsky areas of the Donetsk region.
Novopavlevka direction: Ukraine repels the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Hyorhivka, Novomikhylivka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region. The Russians tried 21 times to penetrate Ukrainian defenses, including air support.
Orekiv direction: The Russians attacked Ukrainian positions seven times in the areas of Robotyn, Staromayorsk and northwest Verbovy in the Zaporizhzhya region.
Kherson direction: The enemy does not abandon its intention to expel Ukrainian units from their bridgeheads on the eastern (left) bank of the Dnipro River. The assault attempt was repelled.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy’s manpower and military equipment, depleting the invasion forces along the entire front line.
