Repair works are underway on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline, where an explosion occurred on January 9 with further burning.

“As of 7:00 a.m. on January 11, the Lubny LVUMG crews are continuing to repair the main gas pipeline. A total of 30 people and 6 units of equipment were involved in the work, “the statement reads.

Explosion in Poltava region
• On January 9, at 3:50 p.m., an explosion occurred in the Lubny district of the Poltava region as a result of the depressurization of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod main gas pipeline, with subsequent flare burning. There are no victims.
• As a result of the disconnection of the Vyshneve GDS, the gas supply to the settlements of Lazirky, Novoorzhytske, Rayozero, Tarasenkove, Vyshneve, Yabluneve, Voronyntsi, Cherevky, Khoroshky, Nove, Zagrebelne, Tymky, Pylypovychi, Neseno-Irzhavets, and Poluniivka was cut off.
• On January 10, gas supply to all settlements was resumed. A total of 2,914 households were without gas.
