Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – January 12, 2021 – Technology
Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy announced that on January 12, the Ukrzaliznytsia chatbot with the function of selling and returning tickets started working in Viber and Telegram messengers.
According to him, in addition to the direct sale or return of tickets, through the chatbot you can order food during the trip, display the schedule, inform about the arrival or delay of the train, track number and more. UZ chatbot speaks three languages: Ukrainian, English and Russian. Payment for tickets purchased through a chatbot is made directly without a redirect – for this it is possible to link a payment card in an electronic wallet. Passengers can also use Google Pay, Apple Pay and Viber Chatbot Payments to pay.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on the results of repair work carried out in 2020 to restore passenger cars. The company noted that the repair of one car is twice cheaper than buying a new one.
On December 24, two trains, Uzhhorod-Kherson and Kharkiv-Vorokhta, started running in Ukraine. Trains will run every other day.
The railway service in Ukraine will be fully operational during the planned increase in quarantine in January, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
