The German government has approved new rules for entry into Germany from countries at increased risk of coronavirus infection, including Ukraine. The innovations will start working on January 14.
From now on, those who come to Germany from countries with a particularly high risk of infection or from where new variants of the coronavirus have been detected will have to take a negative COVID-19 test before entering the country. The test results can be provided to airlines. The test for the presence of the disease will need to be done no more than two days before entering Germany.
Visitors from other countries at risk will be required to be tested for coronavirus no later than two days after arrival in Germany. And for those returning from countries at risk, the rule remains to serve a 10-day quarantine.
From March 1, according to innovations, when entering Germany, people will receive an SMS about exactly what anti-epidemic rules apply throughout the country.

The new rules will come into force on January 14. Countries and regions with a particularly high risk of coronavirus infection include those where the weekly infection rate exceeds 200 new cases per 100,000.
The list of countries and regions with a degree of threat of coronavirus infection is constantly updated on the website of the Robert Koch Institute. According to him, Ukraine is on the list of countries at increased risk of contracting COVID-19 from June 15, 2020.
