The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov, stated that the sitting of the Parliament could not be translated into an online voting format.
“What we could translate online, we translated. If we talk about the sitting of the parliament, the legislation is written in such a way that it is impossible to transfer it to online voting. Especially with today’s technology, which makes it possible to put in your place anyone who will speak the same way and look the same, but will not vote the way you do. That is why today an electronic parliament is impossible, ”the speaker said.
