Corporation “Bogdan Motors’ patented the first electric truck Ukraine. The multifunctional truck was manufactured in Lutsk at the State Enterprise “Auto Assembly Plant №1” to order of the Danish company Banke Electromotive.
The plant received the rights to the industrial design from December 28, 2020. From now on, the Ukrainian truck with electric drive can be mass-produced at industrial facilities, as well as sold into operation to potential customers.
The truck was built for use with special equipment that would collect and deliver household waste from European streets to recycling sites. The electric drive will ensure the absence of harmful emissions.
An electric truck from Ukrainians can develop a speed of up to 80 km / h. The full charge of traction batteries should be enough for 220 kilometers, and the term of use of equipment makes approximately 12 years. The car is equipped with water heaters, combined ventilation, air conditioning and video surveillance.
The customer company Banke Electromotive praised the multifunctional electric car manufactured in Ukraine. During the presentation in 2018, the serial production of cars was agreed in accordance with the contract with the customer after the completion of the certification of electric trucks in Denmark.
