As of the morning of January 17, the coverage of state roads in five regions of Ukraine is snowy in places, but, nevertheless, all sections of state roads are provided. This was reported by the press service of Ukravtodor.
“Roads on state roads are dry in most oblasts, and in some places in Volyn, Rivne, Chernihiv, Sumy and Luhansk oblasts it is snowy. On the pass sections of roads, a little snow falls, the increase in snow cover per day is 1-3 cm. The air temperature is -8-14 ° С. The condition of the coating is wet in places, “the statement reads.
In areas with precipitation, work is being done to clear the carriageway of roads from snow, and they are being treated with anti-icing materials.
“Passage through all sections of roads of state importance is provided. To ensure travel through roads of state importance, road organizations are involved in the work of 390 units of equipment and 529 workers,” Ukravtodor said.

The agency reminded that according to Ukrhydromettsentr, on January 17 in Ukraine the weather will be cold at -17-22 ° С at night, up to 25 ° C in the north and northeast, -11-16 ° С in the daytime, in the south and Zakarpattia -5- 10 ° C. During the day in the western regions there is little, in the Azov region moderate snow, in the rest of the territory without precipitation. The wind will be northwest, 5-10 m / s.
We will remind, because of considerable cooling, in Ukraine local authorities in cooperation with the SES deployed 4 thousand 836 heating points.
Earlier, severe frosts will continue to persist early next week – in the next three days in some places the temperature will drop to 25 degrees below zero.
