head of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Vitaliy Bunechko announced that among the investment projects that are planned to be implemented in the Zhytomyr region in 2021 is the launch of the production of vegan meat in the Baranovsky district.
“Despite the quarantine, new investment and innovation projects have been introduced in the region. The Dutch investor intends to build a vegan meat production facility. Agreements were also reached to attract German investment in the creation of a grain and seed factory and a line for drying and freezing berries in the Brusilovsky district. Registration of the respective company will begin this spring. In addition, negotiations are underway with a Dutch investor on the construction of a bioethanol plant in the Popelnyansk region, ”the statement says.

In 2020 the volume of capital investments received by Zhytomyr region reached UAH 6 billion, and more than 10 thousand jobs were created in the region thanks to business.
“This indicates that investors are interested in locating their enterprises, representative offices of large concerns in the Zhytomyr region,” Vitaliy Bunechko said.
