The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko announced the visit during an online conference “7 years after Maidan”, organized on January 18 by the geopolitical club Eastern Circles and the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center.
Currently, Ukrainian diplomats are actively preparing for the arrival of the French leader. According to Omelchenko, during Macron’s visit it is planned to sign several important agreements.

Among them, the most important is between Ukraine and Alstom on the supply of electric locomotives. According to its terms, the production of electric locomotives should be carried out in Ukraine. An agreement on the construction of high-speed railways between Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa can also be signed with this company.
Another possible agreement is a contract for the construction of drinking water stations.
