Jill Biden, the first lady of the United States, addressed the nation following the inauguration of her husband, Joe Biden.
Biden thanked the military and government officials who ensured the safety of the inauguration.
She also called the day her husband became the 46th President of the United States a “bright new chapter” filled with optimism. She also called on the Americans to unite.
