According to data published by the State Statistics Service, the retail trade turnover in Ukraine in 2020, which was almost entirely quarantined due to the coronavirus pandemic, increased by 8.4% compared to 2019.
It is known that in December last year, compared to December 2019, the volume of retail trade turnover increased by 13.4%, and for the month – compared to November 2020 – increased by 20%.
According to the State service of statistics, in the period from December 2019 to December 2020 in Ukraine beer, vodka, and cigarettes of the Ukrainian production became more expensive, thus table wine fell in price.
In January-October 2020, trade between Ukraine and Belarus decreased by 23.5%. This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kyzym in a relevant online discussion. According to the official, such negative dynamics between the two countries is recorded in the first half of the year.
