The Ministry of Health has begun the process of updating the list of drugs under the “Affordable Medicines” program.
“The process of accepting applications from pharmaceutical manufacturers to update the register of medicines under the reimbursement program “Available Medicines ”has started and the register of marginal wholesale prices for medicines has been approved as of January 4, 2021. “According to the applications of manufacturers and the approved register, pharmaceutical manufacturers can apply to the National Health Service to include their drugs in the” Affordable Medicines “program, provided that their prices for medicines do not exceed the prices specified in the register,” Ivashchenko said.
According to him, the approval of the updated register of medicines to be reimbursed will take place in February.
Ivashchenko said that the government has made changes to the list of drugs under the program “Affordable Medicines” and added three new drugs – Warfarin, Nifedipine, acetylsalicylic acid.
