Denis Shmygal spoke about the IMF tranche!
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expressed concern about a fixed gas tariff, because this is government regulation.
“Now the IMF mission is working in Ukraine. She examines whether these decisions affect the ability of Ukraine’s budget to meet its obligations to citizens and partners. This decision does not actually affect the consistency of the budget. We are continuing our conversation with the IMF. They are worried, worried that the state tariff regulation will not return. No. We will work in the gas and electricity markets. In this case, these measures are specialized in order to protect Ukrainians from stock market fluctuations. We will develop an annual product that will protect citizens from unpredictable fluctuations, ”says Shmigal.
According to him, the state has limited the upper price limit within the market, however, the IMF is calm about this. “But now he says to consider the consistency of our budget. This is absolutely normal, ”the Prime Minister added. Answering the question whether Ukraine will receive the next IMF tranche, Denis Shmygal said: “Of course. I’m sure”.
