Today, January 27, weather conditions are expected to worsen in Ukraine.
up to 10-20 cm of snow will fall in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions. It is already snowing in five oblasts in the morning, however, there are no traffic restrictions and traffic jams on the main roads.
“In Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy and Poltava regions there is significant wet snow, accumulation of wet snow, ice on the roads,” the statement reads.
Wind gusts of 15-20 m / s are expected in the southern part of Ukraine. Such weather conditions are given the first level of danger, yellow.
Snow will cover the south and northeast of Ukraine. In some places, it will rain, which will intensify before the downpours. The daytime minimum temperature will reach -1 ° in the west and the maximum in the Crimea will be + 18°.
It will be cloudy in Kyiv, the temperature will be -1 ° at night, + 1 ° in the daytime.
On the morning of January 27, snow of moderate-intensity was observed in Odessa and Mykolayiv regions with a snow cover height of 2-10 cm; light snow in Kirovohrad, Poltava, and Lviv regions; snow and rain in Kharkiv, rain in Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
The pavement on the roads of state importance in Volyn, Rivne, Odesa, and Mykolayiv oblasts is snow-covered in places, gusts of wind in places, and dry and wet in other oblasts.
On most passages of roads without precipitation, only in Lviv region snowfalls. The coating is wet in places.
To ensure the passage of roads of state importance, road organizations involved 812 units of equipment and 995 workers.
