More than 5.1 thousand new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine last night.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine last day 5 thousand 181 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded, in particular, 218 children and 212 medical workers fell ill.
According to him, yesterday 1,916 people were hospitalized with coronavirus disease, 128 people died and 11,310 recovered.
According to him, also for the past day:
1,916 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 128;
11,310 people recovered;
tests were performed per day – 44,143 (including PCR – 24,769, ELISA – 19,374).
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, 1 million 211 thousand 593 people fell ill with COVID-19, 1 million 003 thousand 341 people recovered, 22 thousand 479 died. 6 million 209 thousand 089 PCR tests were performed.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in the Lviv region (440), Kyiv (361), Ivano-Frankivsk (356), Kyiv (326), and Vinnytsia (238) oblasts.
