Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said during the Hour of Questions to the Government in the Parliament that all obligations of the state regarding benefits and subsidies this year will be fulfilled, but if the allocated funds are not enough, the government will definitely offer a way out.
“This amount is estimated to be enough to pay for all the benefits and subsidies that people will need this year. This amount takes into account all calculations. Last year we will have savings on benefits and subsidies in the amount of about UAH 5 billion, “Shmygal said.
According to him, in general, almost UAH 36.6 billion has been allocated from the state budget to Ukrainians for the payment of subsidies this year.
“If we see in the first half of the year that this amount may not be enough for the last months of the year, of course, we will turn to parliament, make proposals on the source of co-financing this article, co-finance, and all state obligations on benefits and subsidies will be fulfilled “, – he assured.
