The Verkhovna Rada approved as a basis and as a whole the draft resolution No. 4559 on prizes for the best participants in external independent assessment, and 312 MPs voted for him.
The awards will be given to the participants of the VNO entering the Ukrainian universities. The amount of one prize is 100 thousand hryvnias.
The prize will be annually awarded to applicants for general secondary education of the current year who have passed the UPE in four or more academic subjects with a total score of at least 790 points, including 200 points in at least one of the academic subjects.
We are talking about graduates who are enrolled in higher education institutions in Ukraine this year and have signed a training agreement with a Ukrainian university.
If the list of applicants includes less than thirty persons or exactly thirty of them, the prize is awarded to all of them.
In the event that more than thirty people are included in the list of applicants, it is awarded to those whose result (total score in four academic subjects) is at least 1 point greater than the result of the thirty-first applicant on the list.
So, earlier the Committee for Education, Science and Innovation has already made a decision on the relevant draft resolution No. 4559. He recommended that BP take the document as a basis and as a whole.
In Ukraine, they want to introduce scholarships for students who have passed the VNO for 200 points. The Rada registered the corresponding draft resolution No. 4563.
