Kiev. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – January 30, 2021 – Technology
Until 2023, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine will provide technical capabilities so that 100% of public services are available on the Diya portal and mobile application.
The ministry intends to transfer 100% of public services online in three years.
“Very often people write to my Facebook page and offer to make new services, and, of course, the Ministry of Digital Industry wants to satisfy the pains of all Ukrainians for receiving public services, but we rely on their relevance. Our team has statistics, where we keep track of which services the population most often applies to government agencies, and also check the readiness of the infrastructure to transfer services online. Our goal is that 100% of public services are available at Die, ”said the head of the Diya project, Mstislav Banik.
He also noted that one of the key goals of the ministry is that 95% of the population will have access to high-speed Internet throughout Ukraine.
“Step by step, our team is working to ensure that high-speed Internet coverage is available not only in large cities but also in villages. We create new opportunities so that every Ukrainian, even in the most remote regions of the country, can use high-quality Internet, as well as the Diya application. With the help of the updated application, Ukrainians will be able to gain access to their digital documents and, in necessary life situations, distribute their digital copies in a few clicks. I want to emphasize that “Diya” is not charged by mobile operators and the application can be used even if you have only 1 megabyte of the Internet on the balance, ”Banik added.
