The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov stated in his daily message on Facebook that in Ukraine, 1.227 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, a daily increase of 3.2 thousand on February 2, an increase over the previous day. Thus for the fourth week in a row for days people recover more than fell ill. At the same time, the number of hospitalized has reached 2.1 thousand in the last 24 hours.
“3,285 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of February 3, 2021,” Stepanov said.
2,159 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 165;
recovered – 10,101 people;
performed tests for the day – 43 643 (including PCR – 25 235, ELISA – 18 408).
The total numbers during the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 1,227,164 people;
recovered – 1,045,473 people;
fatalities – 23,089;
PCR tests were performed – 6,299,699.
Among the sick for the past day 156 children and 186 health workers.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (330), Ivano-Frankivsk (298), Kharkiv (230), Zaporizhia (211), and Poltava (192) oblasts.
