How to cook cabbage soup to make it tasty and nutritious? Try cooking it in a strong bone broth.
Ingredients:
fresh white cabbage – 500 g
dill – 1 bunch
smoked lard – 50 g
flour – 30 g
red pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
ground black pepper – a pinch
onion – 20 g
cream – 150 g
pork bones – 300 g
vinegar – 1-2 tablespoons
green pepper – 1 pc
tomato – 1 pc
salt
Preparation
- Put the washed bones in cold water and cook for an hour and a half, add salt after boiling.
- Peeled cabbage cut into squares two by two centimeters.
- Chop the onion.
- Drain the bone broth, put the dill tied with a thread, chopped cabbage, and finely chopped onion.
- Cut smoked lard into small cubes and melt the fat in a frying pan.
- Get the greaves from the fat.
- Brown the flour in fat.
- Add red pepper, a little cold water to the flour, mix everything well so that there are no lumps, and add the mixture to the cabbage.
- Stirring, boil until tender.
- At the end add sliced peppers and tomatoes, vinegar, and black pepper.
Serving
Put a spoonful of sour cream on each plate, fill it with hot soup and add cracklings.
