In Ukraine, in connection with a sharp cold snap, heating points have been opened to prevent frostbite and death of people from the cold. Last day alone, on February 6, 444 people applied to such points.
So, as of Sunday, February 7, 4,778 heating points were deployed in Ukraine, of which 4,764 were organized by local self-government, and the State Emergency Service deployed 14 mobile points based on tents and vehicles.
The State Emergency Service has published a list of points by region where all victims of cold weather can apply.
