In the match of the 1/8 finals of the Belgian Football Cup “Ghent”, the striker of the national team of Ukraine Roman Yaremchuk hosted “Charleroi” on his own field.
Our forward came out in the starting lineup and scored a goal in the 74th minute, equalizing the score. Then Odija-Ofo and Berakhino (own goal) scored. This allowed us to beat the opponent with a score of 3: 1 and reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian Midfielder Roman Bezus played 73 minutes for the hosts.
Earlier, Bruges, Cercle Brugge, Standard, Mechelen, Eupen and Genk also made it to the quarterfinals.
