The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced in his daily message that in Ukraine, 1.268 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded. A daily increase of more than 5,000 on February 12, an increase compared to the day before. At the same time, for the fifth day in a row, more people recovered than fell ill in a day.
“5,182 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been registered in Ukraine as of February 13, 2021. In particular, 330 children and 226 medical workers fell ill, ”the minister wrote.
For the past day:
- 1,889 people were hospitalized;
- fatalities – 111;
-
recovered – 6 144;
-
performed tests per day – 40 806 (including PCR – 25 059, ELISA – 15 747).
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
- fell ill – 1,268,049 people;
-
recovered – 1,112,299 people;
-
fatalities – 24,285;
-
PCR tests were performed – 6,525,209.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (668), Zakarpattia (485), Chernivtsi (384), Vinnytsia (365), and Lviv (329) oblasts.
