The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced in his daily message that in Ukraine, there have already been 1.273 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, a daily increase, on February 14 – 2.3 thousand, a fall against the day before, the traditional decline over the weekend. At the same time, in a day people recovered a little more than they got sick.
“2,332 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of February 15, 2021,” Stepanov said.
The daily incidence rate is one of the lowest since early September and ranks third. The number of those who recovered and the number of patients per day is almost at the same level.
On February 14, the laboratories performed 13,740 tests for coronavirus: 11,073 of them by PCR and 2,667 by ELISA. During all this time, 6,551,858 PCR tests were conducted in Ukraine.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (457), Chernivtsi (225), Kyiv (211), Kyiv (171), and Zhytomyr (150) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
sick – 1,273,475 people;
recovered – 1,116,779 people;
fatalities – 24,392;
PCR tests were performed – 6,551,858.
