At least 36 people have been killed in the United States as a result of severe snowstorms and frost hitting the country.
Most of the deaths were due to road accidents due to snow on the roads.
The second most common cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning, as people used vehicles or generators to heat in low temperatures due to power cuts, while six other people died on the way due to hypothermia.
It is worth noting that at least 20 of them died in the US state of Texas, which was hit hard by the storm that ravaged the region earlier this week.
